BabyVox is wigging because I'm letting VoxJr use the computer. Seriously, 13 months way too soon to start this kind of stuff.

And how in the world is a recipe called Beefy Barbeque macaroni, with cheese on top, considered lowfat?

I don't know but it sounds like it should be called Beefy Barbecue Barfaroni. And this is coming from a guy who thinks Cheeseburger Helper is a perfectly good meal.

Admit it, you're a food snob. Beefy Barbecue Macaroni sounds awesome.

I wasn't picking it out to make, it's just on Allrecipes as a lowfat recipe, which is a crock.

I've thought about getting a crock pot. It seems like everyone down here has at least a couple.

Crockpots are hit or miss. Most recipes out there are based on campbell's cream of X soup or onion soup mix -- not much for originality.

I use mine for soup -- cook the meat on the stove, then throw together all the ingredients and let it cook overnight.

I got a cookbook called "not your mother's crockpot cookbook", which has an interesting variety of recipes, although not necessarily food my family would be interested in eating. Two of the recipes I''ve tried from it have been compete flops. Ironically, the best recipe i got from it has been for pizza dough made in the bread machine (the authors also did a bread machine cookbook).

It's fun reading all this hope in the Eagles thread while drinking out of my Super Bowl Champions beer mug.

My cat, Chase, watches TV very intently, but only when Good Eats is on Food Network. Maybe he has a thing for Alton Brown?

It cracks me how colleges are run. I run all the family finances, and Rutgers won't tell me whether they got a fax from us requesting our refund check.

They will however, email Vox's Rutgers address, to which I have access.

And if it was my kid, they probably would give me the information.

FERPA and whatever the state legislature has done may have a lot more to do with your difficulties than "colleges". Though of course you cannot underestimate the perplexity of the Rutgers bureaucracy.

Welcome to my world. Except for the bubblegum part.

My roommate just said 'prim-er' instead of 'prime-er.' For a bright kid, he sure finds ways to mispronounce stuff.
