okay, how many runs do we need to win today? I kinda figure Myers will be used for the 8th and 9th and Gordon will be used for the 7th, which would probably be 1 run in 3 innings. I'm guessing the 5th and 6th will probably turn into a couple more runs, which would give Washington 5. We need 6 in 6 innings here, I'm guessing :-/

Remember, Adam Eaton started. 2-0 in the 4th is a pretty good spot to be in, IMO.

Mesa only gave up one run. That's pretty good all things considered. 2 runs should be nothing to make up. Once the sun/shade is dealt with, they'll start pouring on the hurt.

Romero is rested too...i'd rather not have myers go 2 innings...i'd rather not have to use myers...there's still a lot of game to play folks, and mesa won't be pitching again cause we are getting to the 9 spot this half inning and pinch hiiting
