Viva La Haverford couldn't really be our fight song, could it? One thing I really hated about that place were all the a cappella groups.

There's also a plain old Haverford High School. They were supposed to be our (Upper Darby) big rival. But back in the 70s we weren't much into big rivals and fight songs.

Haverford High's nickname was the Fords I think. So their fight song might have had somehing to do with beating Chevys and Dodges down at the old drag strip or something. It might have even been penned by Bruce Springsteen since he wrote a lot of car songs.
