Ghost and Prov are a good start, but this D just isn't good enough. It's not Mason. It's not Neuvirth. It's the D. I prefer Mason over Neuvirth, but I'm fine if they move forward with Neuvy. But nothing's going to change until we see Hagg, Myers, Morin, Sanheim, Ghost, Prov as the D.
I really hope Hextall isn't going to rely only on those internal guys and is going to bring in someone established either this offseason or next as a defense with that many young guys is probably 3-4 years away from being very good.
Look at Ghost this year, so many ups and downs with him, which happens with young guys.
