It's fun to know they have a chance when it gets to shootouts

Can't wait until they start him for two weeks and you decide he sucks too.

I love paying 5 mil to a guy that is only a PP specialist. Using the term specialist loosely since he only shoots from the same 8 foot area.

I can't believe that Hexy was serious about Mason getting the lion's share of the starts for the rest of the season. When Neuvy is healthy and settles into his game he is the better goalie of the two. I really don't want to see the Flyers hitching their fortunes long term to Mason. Too many slumps/injuries and its not like one of them is an anomaly. It happens several times a season.

You might be interested to know that, over his career through last night, Brayden Schenn accumulated 37% of his points from the power play (38G/44A); he has 60G and 80A at even strength. His numbers through 41 games this season are disproportionate to his career level but there is still half a season to go. How much is Giroux making because 41% of HIS career points coming from the PP.

If Hart continues to impress, he could be their guy, but he's 2-3 years away, so if they don't promote Stolarz, they'll need someone else. It'll be interesting with both Mason and Neuvirth being FAs this summer

So Boyd Gordon's on waivers, but we'd need to make another move to fit Streit back in. I know there's the whole 40 games thing with A-Mac and the Vegas expansion draft, so I guess we have to wait a few more games for that. Streit might be hanging around for a few more days waiting before we finally dump A-Mac to the minors.

Broad Street Dude: Schenn is currently on pace to score 15 points at 5v5 this season, and 40 points across every other situation. What a bizarre performance.

I think he has this "have to teach these young punks a lesson about who's in charge around here" vibe. Like a hockey Bowa.
