He wore his helmet and batted right handed for the first pitch only

Thought the solo trumpet version of "take me out to the ballgame" during the pregame was an awesome touch.

I remember the three Indian pitchers from many years ago.

Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Was he driving the boat? If not what does it matter?

He's a professional athlete, role model, and regional hero doing a less-than-recreational drug the day before a scheduled start. You're ok with that?

Before the articles said it wasn't his boat but Deadspin mentioned today that it was his boat. You'd have to think he was the one driving it.

Just seems like a bad idea to get that drunk and doing cocaine on a boat in the middle of the night whether you're driving or not.

I try not to be niave when shit like this comes out.

Plenty young star athletes party just not many die doing it, get caught, or take it to the lengths of johnny manziel level.

Dustin Johnson had to go to rehab for yeyo in the middle of a damn golf season.

Guessing Chris ivory was too syzzzruppped up to start the year. Lots of these stars with money dabble. They just don't go as big as Jose did apparently.

Its sad but not necessarily surprising. It is miami.

He had a kid coming.... But he was still young and full of money :( rip regardless dude
