fwiw the Boston sports fans in my office aren't enamored by Aigne. Maybe we're overstating his competence?

Ainge's strategy is pretty transparent. With Thomas, Bradley and Smart, there's no way he picks Dunn. But he uses his media foils to create the impression he will in order to try to force the Sixers to deal with him rather than Phoenix for the 4th pick while, at the same time, trying to convince Phoenix that Bender will be available at 4 so there's no reason for them to deal with the Sixers.

I think if you're BC you've got to hold firm and force Ainge to either deal with you or make his pick, in which case you go to Plan B either with Phoenix or New Orleans.

we all seem to be in agreement then, call Ainge's bluff. Dunn is not a game-changer.

this is the first time in a while Sixers BSG has been aligned this much.

Totally call Ainge's bluff... i think we match up well with the Suns... offer Okafor or Noel plus the Lakers pick for Bledsoe or Knight plus the 4th pick... if Boston takes Dunn then take Bledsoe and draft Murray... if Boston takes someone else, take Knight and draft Dunn... ready made backcourt either way

The NBA deadline to trade 2016 draft picks passed at 2 p.m. ET. Any other trades, teams will have to draft player and then trade his rights.
