Don't think you would hear of a Sixers trade until they know their guy is available, so either when that pick is up or after the pick is made.

There's really no chance we could get LA's #2 pick and have Simmons and Ingram, right? I'd be willing to overpay at least a little for that pick.

seems like we're losing Nerlens. I'm not the biggest fan but he has a lot of value, and he seems like a really good guy. I'll miss him, but I'll move on fairly quickly. Reddit and Liberty Ballers will probably have a suicide or two.

My preference was to keep Nerlens but I also recognize that its nice to have 3 more cheap years of Jah rather than 1 more cheap year of Noel. I liked Noel but it amazed me how awful his hands were offensively. And Okafor might be better Embiid insurance. I don't know...maybe I'm rationalizing. I'm not sold that Dunn is better than Murray IMO so I don't feel desperate to do a deal with Boston and would like to see them shut out in achieving their goals.

Also... if it seems like every Sixers fan on the planet thinks Noel is good and Okafor isn't, wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that NBA executive Danny Ainge -- in a trade for the #3 pick in the draft -- would recognize that too?

Yeah but you'd think okafor is more valuable with 2 more years on his deal.
