Mentioned that Moniak was 98.75% in bat speed. Cole Stobbe makes up that percentile as he had the fastest. I love that Moniak, Stobbe and Stephen are all high contact rate guys (Randolph and Kingery last year). Such a departure from the last regime's Anthony Hewitt and Kyrell Hudson's.

My grandfather would go to restaurants and give this name just to rattle the host/hostess. He would then spell it really fast and walk away. Then when he/she would call us, we had a laugh at the stumbling attempts to say it. He was a huge fan of Barney Miller. Missin him.

Klentak interview on CSN PST right now. He isn't wearing that powder blue Phillies jacket!

-- Had no favorites at the start of the season.....started fresh
-- Moniak is a "two-way" player....great at offense and defense, can do it all; the comparisons we've read (Yelich, etc.) are similar to what they think
-- Had Gowdy ranked in the 1st round; Almaraz and crew think he can be an ace
-- Didn't go into draft thinking HS with the first three picks but that's how things unfolded, and it works better in terms of balancing their minor league system
-- #5 Irvin could fast track

#27 Agle:

Agle said he is unsure about whether to sign with the Phillies or come back for his sophomore season at SMC.

“I haven’t decided yet. It’s one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Being drafted and having that chance to live out my dreams being put right in front of me is what makes it a tough decision.”

Looks like a bunch of players have signed and are in Clearwater already but haven't been officially announced. The first post has names in blue for those that appear to be signed

#36 Sceroler is OUT

Sophomore Sceroler, however, chose to return to Southeastern for another year as a Lion. “It’s an honor to get drafted, it’s every baseball player’s dream, but I’m a sophomore so I’m going to come back to Southeastern for my junior year. I’m spending the summer in the Cape Cod league and I’m going to learn a lot and get stronger and bring it all back to school next year. Hopefully I’ll get drafted in a better spot next June.”

Okay, he don't make films. But if he did they'd have a samurai.
