So without Shurmur I'm guessing Bradford is gone

ideally in my mind, we tag bradford and trade him to either denver or houston
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

We don't want to pay 18-20 mill for Bradford what makes you think someone else wants to?

They could easily draft a QB. They obviously don't value the position and I doubt they will want to trade for a guy, then pay him that much.

the idea that an nfl team doesn't value the qb position is absurd.

Daniel Jeremiah's Mock Draft as of 1.17
1.) Tenn - Joey Bosa DE OSU
2.) Clev - Jared Goff QB Cal
3.) SD - Laremy Tunsil OT Miss
4.) Dal - Carson Wentz QB ND
5.) Jax - Deforest Buckner DE Oregon
6.) Bal - Jalen Ramsey CB FSU
7.) SF - Myles Jack OLB UCLA
8.) Mia - Jaylon Smith OLB ND
9.) TB - Eli Apple CB OSU
10.) NYG - Ezekiel Elliot RB OSU
11.) CHI - Vernon Hargreaves CB Florida
12.) NO - Mackensie Alexander CB Clemson
13.) PHI - Ronnie Stanley OT ND
14.) OAK - Robert Nkemdiche DT Miss
15.) STL - Paxton Lynch QB Memphis
16.) DET - A'Shawn Robinson DT Alabama

other notables:
23.) Minn - Laquon Treadwell WR Miss
27.) GB - Kevin Dodd DE Clemson
30.) AZ - Shaq Lawson DE Clemson

If we're on the clock and Stanley, Nk, Pax and A'Shawn are available I dont think i'd be disappointed with the pick. I didn't watch much Clemson ball but after the title game I bought high into those DL, surprised they're lower in the round.

Every single team would sell their souls to have a Rodgers or Brady at QB.

Do you know anything about Bill O'Brien?

What I meant was they don't necessarily value a QB that is top 5 or so in salary. Not every team feels the need to spend that much on a QB, especially when they can draft one and with the questions marks Bradford has.

Teams don't mind spending money like that for a Rodgers or Brees or Brady, but when you get a guy like Bradford how many teams are going to want to commit to him long term?

Just because Bradford is going to be paid like a top QB doesn't mean he is one in every team's eyes.

Sure, and it seems like he prefers to bring in a QB cheap and coach them up over trying to break the bank on a guy just for the sake of having a highly paid QB. I am sure they could have traded for Bradford or Cutler last year, but they obviously didn't.

I think Peyton Manning to Houston is more likely then them wanting to trade for Bradford after we franchise him. I think them drafting a guy is the most likely scenario and maybe bringing in a vet as well.

If Denver moves on from Manning and he wants to play one more year, I could see Houston being a leader to get him.

so you're suggesting that houston would prefer a downgrade at the qb position?

I am sure they would consider bringing him in. Can't think of many other teams that would want him and bringing him in with Hoyer and a rookie might not be the worst thing for them.
