Hear that. You'd figure that my back, shoulders, or arms would hurt from scooping that sleet off my parents' driveway. But no, my hamstrings are killing me. How does that work?

Good God, I can't wait to move out. Only 13 days left under my parents' roof...

My back, neck, arm and ankle hurt, and not because I was scraping, its because I fell.

My first step off the porch on Saturday morning landed me on my ass on the ice slick that is my front walk. No damage though, other than to my pride. :ce:

Ever have one of those days where you seem to break just about everything you come in contact with? Yeah, that's me today.

Hopefully that trend today remains isolated to software, and not my car. It's bad enough that my longstanding prediction of being killed by a middle-aged woman in an SUV almost came true on Friday after a (wait for it) middle-aged woman in a Chevy Suburban blew through a red light and missed me by mere inches.

She was on the phone, I'm sure.

Is there such a thing as a Florida accent?

If not WTF is up my parents mispronouncing my son's name? (It's not made up and they have a friend with the same name).

I hate looking at that poker discussion thread. It should be on this board, if not the Interwebs Suggestions board.

I've never bought that. If you're going to ban in-car cell phones, then you have to ban car stereos, climate controls, passengers, and a host of other things that, IMO, are every bit as distracting as cell phones.

I know that in my neighborhood (which has a lot of traffic), in 95% of the near-accident-causing moves I see, the driver has a phone stuck to their ear.

I think there's empirical evidene to suggest that talking on a phone is more distracting than those other things. Now, perhaps there ought to be a ban on putting on makeup while driving, or shaving, but those activities aren't as common as cell phone use in the phone.

But whether or not there's a law, does the person you want to talk to really have anything you need to hear?

What is so galdamned important that these people can't NOT be on the frakking phone all the time?!?

As if these people are saying anything even remotely interesting. I hate them.

I used to be in the camp that said cell-phones are no worse than eating in cars and whatnot, then I realized that every.single.solitary.time some scumbag cuts me off, rides my tail, or almost kills me, they're on the frigging phone. I also believe this happens far more often since idiots decided they had to be on the phone all the time than back in the day.
