Overheard at the office just now:

"I don't know, that Huckabee seems like a pretty regular guy for a politician. They showed him up there playing bass guitar and stuff the other night!"
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

that and cheese/pepperoni and crackers are my favorite snack foods. We had neither for NYE because it was just me and the wife and I would have eaten all of it.

My plans for NYE dinner:
rib roast
scalloped potatoes
etc.

The dinner that was eaten, because Vox did the shopping:
pork roll and fried bologna sandwiches
cheese, crackers, and pepperoni
potato chips and dips
there may have been other crap, but I spent 10p-12p loading my iTunes

So, we are doing my NYE dinner plans tonight (sans booze), but now Vox is stuck at work.

We did a rib roast for New Year's Day. NYE was fajitas and cookies and margaritas.

Hey, Clinton saxaphoned his way right into the White House (you were like, 8 at the time - saxaphones were cool then).

Dennis Miller has an old joke about that - he said America was so shocked they had a candidate that could actually do something they couldn't resist making him president.

VOX!!! You have been promising to make your whitetrash feast of fried bologna sandwiches for over a year now--you finally make them when I'm not there! Nice, real nice!

Vox had a lost evening over the holidays when he pounded 3 bottles of white zinfandel and starting gushing poetic about the moderators

I have a dell and have been using onboard video since I got it. I finally sprung for an entry level video card (ATI Radeon x600) not only did it lower my Microsoft Experience Score from 3.5 to 2.8 my computer runs like crap now. what bull.

Zinfandel... isn't that what radical jihadists call westerners :?:

Also noticed you didn't contest the "3 bottles"

impressed, so far.

When I search for a song it often says "Showing 1-10 of 20." Is there any way to get it to show 11-20?

Golden Globe-nominated actors are expected to snub the awards in support of striking Hollywood writers, the actors union said Friday.

Golly, no long-winded, boring acceptance speeches to listen to. I want to thank God, the striking writers, the producers they are striking against . . .

Make sure you're using the latest Catalyst drivers - 7.12 for the x600 - available here: http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catal ... radeonx-xp

For video cards, drivers are the key. Wrong driver / old driver / multiple driver versions = crappy performance.

Good luck.

The card didn't come with a disc, so I downloaded the drivers from ATIs website. It is ATI, so i'll probably have to reinstall the drivers about 8 times to get it to work. I'll give it a shot that way. Thanks shore.
