1. That old offset to the left angle of the centerfield camera at Yankee Stadium back in the day is always weird, every time you see it in a highlight.

2. Yankees uniforms still look black to me on tape, particularly in the 70s/80s era.

Well, technically it's the Commonwealth. No one calls it that, though.

State College. Of New Jersey. In Glocuester. And also, not exactly the state college.

After a bang out of the gate, Yimmy is busting. Were it not for his 11 walks he'd be even worse. .182/.281/.299/.580

Madsen looks like he's doing great for KC, good to see

Kinda strange that Dickey went back to totally ducking again after being like the best pitcher in the league. Funny game

If you’re a T-Mobile subscriber you can get a free subscription to MLB At Bat. You have to download it on the T-Mobile network to get the deal. Unfortunately, I can only get it on my phone and not my iPad since it’s wifi only. I figured if I did it on my phone first and then downloaded on the iPad it would recognize that I had a subscription, but it doesn’t appear to work that way, which kinda sucks.

On Friday MLB and the PA announced a change to trading of recently drafted players. A pick in the June draft is now eligible to be traded the day after the World Series ends. BUT - they can no longer be PTBNL.

This could fuck us over in trade talks for Hamels in July. Won't be able to go after guys that teams like LA, ChC or BOS draft.

Please be advised that the Commissioner’s Office and the Players Association have agreed to amend the Major League Rules in advance of this year’s Rule 4 Draft with respect to players-to-be-named-later (“PTBNLs”) under Rule 12(e)(2), and the trading of draft picks under Rule 3(b)(6). …commencing with players eligible for the 2015 Rule 4 Draft, (a) players selected in the Draft may be traded beginning on the day following the conclusion of the World Series, and (b) drafted players cannot be PTBNLs unless they otherwise could be traded pursuant to Rule 3(b)(6), as amended, at the time of the trade.

Would've been highly unlikely anyway.
