Which the Isles gave to Boston.

Hextall says the players wanted to fly on the 26th; otherwise they would've had to fly the morning of the game (or really early AM)

They also owe a 3rd to Columbus for Mason, unless they give them San Jose's pick from the Tye McGinn trade

How much longer is this farce going to be allowed to continue? I still love 'em but they are nearly unwatchable, at this point.

What do you want them to do? They are in cap hell from Homer's moves and there isn't much they can do.

They could fire Berube, but I am not sure that does much. They have to try to move Vinny while he is hot.

I agree with everything you said but Berube gone would be enough for me (although moving Vinny would be a huge bonus). The team looks directionless for large stretches of every game and that, to me, is a reflection of the coach. Chief just does not seem to have any answers. I understand that he is stuck with what he has but this is essentially the same team he was a hero for coaching to the playoffs last season. I feel like the time has come to turn the page. I will say, though, that it would be nice for this organization to settle on a coach for a little while.

I find myself caring less about them each day. Not going to invest ticket money on them. Getting close to not watching them either. Flyers paraphernalia is hiding back deeper in the closet every day.
I get it that the roster has limitations but the play on the ice shows not energy. I get that this isn;t a SC contender but after the firing of Laviolette, the team played well and did make the POs. For whatever reason, that spark is gone. Berube has to go. Then Hexy can move players in trade as the opportunity arises. Playing as they are now isn't going to draw any suitors for deals.

The McDavid lottery race:

1 Edmonton 27
2 Carolina 28
3 Buffalo 31
4 Arizona 34
5 New Jersey 35 (12 ROW)
6 FLYERS 35 (14 ROW)

They should be trying to trade Schultz, not talking extension as Meltzer wrote about the other day.

Leading up to the deadline, we should try and get rid of both Schenn's.
Schultz, Del Zotto shouldn't be hard to move at all. Wouldn't have to work that hard to get Coburn outta here.
Probably stuck with Grossmann, Streit and Vinny.

Berube will be fired at some point. No way he's the coach entering the next training camp.

Berube has them play a passionless, emotionless, boring style. Easier to can him than convince other teams the shit players are worth something.

Wait, is he saying the players just need to play better or there will be consequences?
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Good, you can't blame the coach everytime there are problems. This is a team very similar to the one last year. You mean to tell me Timonen and Hartnell were that vital to the teams success?
