there's not many players to dump? there's a "core" that he probably won't touch among the forwards, leaving laughton and read, which would seem unnecessary and uninspiring. the best bet is to move shitty defenseman out of here and give time to the group of defenseman waiting in the wings.

Schultz might actually have some value for a contender looking for a 6th defenseman. Would trade him for a pick in an instant.
