Well they are already 10 points back of the WC and 12 of the Division so I am not sure what he is waiting for. I am guessing those players have little value that he wants to trade.

I haven't watched this year, but I have tickets tonight. Can anyone give me a brief overview of what's going on with the team? Is Giroux playing tonight? They're in a five game losing streak right now, right?

Looks like Giroux is out tonight as he isn't practicing and Rinaldo may be on the top line. That should tell you a lot.

Probably Laughton. I could see Coburn being moved and maybe Streit if they go with a youth movement. I guess any of these guys could be moved if they are willing to eat money.

Yeah forgot to put him on probably won't trade. A crazy idea would be going after a player like Taylor Hall. He was just rumored to be available by Darren Pang. I wonder if a Couts/Hagg (with Coburn for cap balance and he's always rumored to Oilers) package would get it done. Just get #1 pick this year and first 2 lines next year are sick:

Hall/Giroux/Voracek (best line in the NHL)
Schenn/McDavid/Simmonds

I know this would never happen but Hextall has to get creative.
