Middleton wants Gillick to be the president

I do believe Montgomery was the driving force behind the lack of change in this organization and the archaic manner in which it has always operated. If Middleton takes over, then I believe this franchise will finally arrive in the 21st century with a real emphasis on analytics, and not the front they've been putting on the last year, where they acted like they cared about it. Amaro's job is less safe, because Amaro is like a son to Montgomery, and with Gillick as president, we have the guy who is a proven champion back to making key decisions.
If true, this new is very promising. If there is one owner of this organization that actually cares about winning first, it's Middleton. Gone are the days of the good ol' boy network.
Hopefully.
