Assuming his back his okay, Embiid's ceiling is outrageous. The guy played volleyball until sixteen when he started playing basketball. And he already looks fluid out there... And I just don't trust Wiggins. He just seems to float around out there too much for my liking. They can coach him up, but he just isn't aggressive enough out there for my liking.

Cavs GM Griffin:

"I don't think there's a clear-cut #1 pick in most drafts. I think when people say that, they have a really strong feeling for one player over another but there's not necessarily a consensus in most drafts."

Griffin added that the Cavaliers plan to select a player that best fits their roster, not necessarily the best player available.

"I think we're very open-minded. We will try to get radically better, much quicker. We really feel like there's a sense of urgency in improving our team as a whole and we're going to look for the right fit and we're very open-minded to what that really means."

welp that doesn't sound like Wiggins

and Sacramento says they're opening to dealing #8 for a player (Rondo?)

don't believe the Cavs when two different people had them on Parker all season and then all of a sudden it's actually Wiggins. they're trying to trade down. I feel like 3 and 10 probably does it for them, but I don't think I'd do it.

Bucks being ahead of the Sixers is good because even if they're all about Wiggins, Ford has them interested in Exum as well. not that I don't like Exum, but I think he's not an ideal choice for the Sixers because of his overlapping skillset with MCW. Best case scenario would be choosing between Embiid and Wiggins, and it's possible.

If Cleveland goes Wiggins after all, you probably choose between Embiid and Exum.

If Simmons is right and Embiid is the clear #1 league-wide, you probably end up choosing between Parker and Exum. If this is the case, I expect the trade potential for the pick could be tremendous. Orlando supposedly loves Exum and Utah supposedly loves Parker, and both have other first-round picks to deal.

So many things can happen and this is so fun. There's also the trade potential of Thad and packaging him for some other talent. Can't wait til Hinkie gets out of the bunker
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

I don't know anything you don't know, but I wouldn't be so quick to say "it's one of Wiggins/Embiid/Parker." I think they have Exum ranked ahead of at least one of them. The line Exum fed in his interview about teams talking about running "two point guards" sounded pretty Sixers to me. If I had to guess the Sixers board, I'd go Wiggins/Embiid/Exum/Parker. I think Exum brings a lot to the table, and I think he's more of a two guard than he thinks he is.

i'm operating under the assumption that it's a complete tossup among the top four until the first pick is announced

Yep. I don't know that there's any order those four could go in that would surprise me. What would surprise me is anyone else cracking that top 4.
