I could say the same thing about doctors. I had to take some classes at a medical school and I was surprised how many of them didn't know the corpus callosum from the superior colliculus. But they weren't stupid.

I was thinking about one guy in particular and used him as an example. For those with anatomy background, they aren't even close to the same thing. He is now a practicing doctor probably killing patients in some practice somewhere.

Missenelli should have just stuck with his "chicks dig the long ball" argument. People pay money to see home runs. Ryan Howard hits lots of home runs, so lots of people pay money to see that.

Some player who saves runs with his glove at first may be "worth" more to the team, but if I go to a game with my dad, he wants to see a Phillie like Howard hit a mammoth HR, not see someone make a boring defensive play at first.
