I'm waiting for the $$$ terms. He has a chance to be helpful this year, certainly moreso than Cloyd. I feel we needed a safer or higher-ceiling SP, though, otherwise you're asking a lot of Gonzalez

On a side note, I remember them being linked to this guy in July 2010. Nothing inherently wrong with fixating on certain guys you like for whatever reason, but it seems to happen a lot with the Phillies and feels at least a little irrational.

Yeah, his numbers are weird. 1.43 HR/9 and 20.9% HR/FB ratio last year worries me quite a bit.

Hopefully this is a minor league deal.
