That Fister trade is fucked up. Legit 4 win pitcher and probably a 3 win or so upgrade over detwiler/Jordan whoever. Gap not closing.

strasburg/fister/gio/zimmerman is an awesome front four. i'd say i hope matt williams has no idea what he is doing, but it doesn't really matter with the phillies in this current state.

Our hope, apparently, is that our team gets 15 games better through the magic 35-year-old bump, and that Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Washington get worse, while none of San Francisco, Arizona, or San Diego get better.

They only didn't make the playoff because of injuries and bad luck. Put that same team out there 100 times and they make the playoffs 95 times. :(
