BTW, the Royals have given over 150 ABs to three players who have an OPS below .600. One of them (Alcides Escobar) has gotten 396 AB. (Luckily for them, they've cut Francoeur.) Only four players in their starting lineup have an OPS over .700, and no starter has an OPS over .800. Jarrod Dyson is the only player on the entire roster with an OPS over .800, and he only has 87 AB.

I know this is the Phillies thread, but this is remarkable. Escobar was supposed to be very good. He has been awful this year. Pretty much everyone they have was supposed to be a world beater, but sucks. Baseball I tell ya.
