Paul Swydan, ESPN insider

When the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Zack Greinke this offseason, he gave them -- along with lefty Clayton Kershaw -- one of the top front ends of a rotation in baseball. Together, the duo is arguably the best one-two punch in the game, a pair truly capable of winning four games in a seven-game series.

would love to see the rest of this article, not.

Hamels / Lee are his number 2 fwiw. I'll post the whole thing later.

Elvis Andrus scratched due to soreness from new tattoo

The tattoo filled most of Andrus' left arm from shoulder to elbow, so it isn't surprising he is experiencing soreness. The image features a large face as a tribute to his late father, with crossed baseball bats underneath the face.

"He's becoming a man and a mainstay and is acting like it," Washington said. "He is getting better in all phases of his game."

Larry Bowa doesn't have Troy Tulowitzki in his top 10 shortstops on MLBNetwork.

Am I missing something or are the Yankees going to have some problems this year?

Rangers add Derek Lowe on minor league deal, will be 5th starter at least until Colby Lewis returns in May/June

Also sports radio reports Nolan Ryan will leave the organization before the season starts. He was recently shuffled into a more ceremonial role but wants to continue to have a say in personnel decisions.

They're sitting on the best prospect in MLB (Profar) and 1-2 other ML ready guys but somehow are reluctant to commit to them in the lineup. Not sure if that's Nolan or Jon Daniels but it's not smart imo

Greg Amsinger was on WIP earlier and said the Yankees are gonna lose 90+ this year, then Jeter, Rivera and Pettitte will all retire together and Cano will leave in FA. Hard to believe, Harry.

He also predicts the Padres will have a winning record

They don't have any glaring holes in their lineup that would be fixed with Profar, so they might as well delay his arb clock.
