Yeah I wasn't casting doubt on your post, just surprised. Checked the Phils stats and realized no one qualified, but it still seems low. Don't most teams have at least one steady corner guy?
If it's right, they have only 1 (point 3).
And that's not counting DHs. Although I guess a lot of teams split that duty.

To be totally honest, "Delmon Young as starting RF" wasn't even contemplated as a potential worst-case scenario. I couldn't even have thought of that as a possibility. Amaro never disappoints.

As much as I want to believe that, I don't. Not at all. I've seen nothing in the last three years that would lead me to believe anything other than that Amaro and the Phillies don't like Brown at all.

Honestly, who gives a fuck what Amaro says, as far as the starting RFer. Charlie will play who he plays. DYoung can't hit RHP, so I can't see him paying full-time.
But, they obviously don't think Ruf can play the OF at all yet, so he'll work on it at AAA until Revere runs into something.
