yeah all along i thought if he is going free agent route..he would afford two out of 3 of CF, RF and 3B and go internal on the other.

this is assuming he can also get an 8th inning guy..thats what burns about the failed lopez deal

i am perfectly fine with ruf in left and dom brown/mayberry in RH if he gets us some major bats in CF and 3B.

but there just arent alot of available guys.

I think Alfonso Soriano makes sense if cubs eat salary. That deal may even be expanded to bring us marmol.

I am sure he is kicking tires on Granderson too.

Justin Upton is a pipedream unless AZ loves them some Galvis.
