Then again, I don't understand why the Rangers would deal someone that they just signed to a fairly team-friendly six-year extension in April. What's the basis for that rumor, and what would it supposedly take to get him short of giving up Cliff Lee?

Like most rumors, the basis for it is "man that would be AWESOME!!!! Go Phils!!!"

or the fact that moving kinsler to the outfield diminishes his value, therefore moving him for a nice return becomes more realistic.

I don't understand how that line of reasoning, while plausible, becomes a "rumor" that the Phillies are going to try to / have a chance at acquiring Kinsler.

The test was in ST but he wasn't suspended until after the season started.

idk, slow bat seems false to me, from what i've seen. he sometimes has a hard time picking up the ball, especially on dudes that can keep the same arm slot...that is different than slow bat. he needs to work on that in the cage. i think being a special project of charlie's will help.

Could have hit one off an off speed pitch (aka slider speed bat). But that's not what he did. It was a 93 MPH fastball inside and he turned on it.
