I'm good with this for the time being. Add in Howard and hopefully Utley around late May and were good. Another bat (3b) around August and we're golden.

Thome ought to sue for being lumped in those guys.
None of the three hitters the Phillies acquired this offseason hit better than .256 last year. Jim Thome and Laynce Nix are among the 25 active major leaguers with the worst at-bat-per-strikeout ratio. Thome ranks 11th, averaging 3.3 at-bats per strikeout in his career, while Nix ranks 24th, averaging 3.7 ABs/SO....Nobody can expect him [Manuel] to turn Thome, Wigginton, and Nix into contact hitters.
Thome ought to sue for being lumped in those guys.
