Possibly when they hit their peaks and if they stay healthy and even if they can throw the pitches, command is what separates the Phillies guys.

But Davey is doing the right thing talking up his guys and building their confidence, changing expectations and building a culture down there. I've always thought he deserved another shot to manage. He's a good manager.

Yeah he's a blubbering moron. Gio Gonzalez does not have the same type of stuff as Roy Halladay. I mean c'mon.

Use dynamic ticket pricing and the Phillies can probably increase revenues by 2-3 million a year minimum.

Wigginton as our starting 1B is certainly going to strike fear in the hearts of our opponents.
We now know that Amaro really is running the Phillies. He and Monty seem to have ignored the committee.

Jays gm was at the game and left after Blanton was done.

Blanton for D'Arnaud and $4 million.

Joe for E6 would save us like 5 mil. They'd probably want a prospect too since they have the money leverage. He'd be a pretty decent fit IMO, a better version of Wigginton (w/o ability to play 2B) who could also be a good Polanco hedge

doubt we'd get anything of value for blanton.

and i doubt we'd spend the monies on oswalt.

more likely scenario is trading for david wright.

Quite possibly the greatest possible lineup at Tampa today. Id post it but I'm walking along the US 19 service road.

3rd overall pick in the 2000 draft....one of the shittiest 1st rounds ever except for Chase, Adrian Gonzalez and Wainwright

3 years with the Orioles and 1 year with the Cubs, and has never played more than 50 games in a season

but he had a nice diving catch last week, so there's that...
