"I tried to do all the reps, but I realized I couldn't finish a Roy Halladay workout," Cosart said.

That's why we traded him.

He was a 5 tool shortstop when he was drafted. Now he's a minor league vet corner OFer. Won a AA triple crown one year and had a nice season last year in AAA.

He could be a late bloomer like Jayson Werth or Wilson Valdez so grab him for your fantasy team before he gets real expensive.

Very clutch.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Blanton for D'Arnaud and $4 million.

BATTISTA

2. Joe Blanton, RHP, Phillies - The Phillies would love to trade Blanton and insert Kyle Kendrick into the No. 5 spot in the rotation. Major league sources tell me the Phillies are making it clear that they would take as much as $2 million of Blanton’s $8 million deal.

So why, oh why, did we not just non-tender Kendrick?

I truly wonder if he feels emotion on anything but his family, baseball, and hunting. Not even sure he does with baseball.
