Bill White is a former Gold-Glove, All-Star, 1stbaseman with the Cardinals, Phillies & Giants who later became the President of the National League after stints of broadcasting baseball for the Yanks. Curt Simmons spent 20 seasons in the majors with the Phillies, Cardinals, Cubs and Angels. Shantz is the nimble, nifty, lefty who pitched for the A's, Yanks, Pirates, Colt 45's, Cardinals, Cubs and Phillies. He was the AL MVP in 1952 and sported 8 consecutive Gold Gloves from 1957--1964.
