Scott Elarton is pretty interesting. A big guy and a number one pick at one time who had a really nice season as a 23 year old and followed up by winning 17 games the next year. He did have a high ERA that season and didn't strike out guys and walked guys more than he did the year before.

Things got bad after that as he had really high ERAs but and his strikeouts went down and his walks went up and he gave up lots of homers. He then had the shoulder labrum surgery.

He's been mostly terrible but managed a 10 year career based on winning 17 games that one year.
