I'm sick to death of losing to the Nationals, specifically. I'd really like a win tonight just to shut Bob Carpenter up. Then, I don't have to hear him again until next spring - one of the few perks of the offseason.

since he's tipping by throwing flat, ill-located pitches, it seems to me the fixit job may be a bit trickier

Speaking of tips, is it possible that Bastardo is just plain hurt? He has never made it through an entire season has he?
