7-154 is also remarkably close to their record.

I'm going to guess it's too early to take espn park factors seriously, since Safeco field right now ranks second in HRs allowed.

What I've never understood though, is how US Celluar Field never seems to be in the bandbox discussion even thogh it's at or near the top of HRs allowed every single year. I mean, you might hear it referred to as a hitters park, but never regarded as a joke like CBP sometimes is.

Is it just that no one around here cares about the AL so I don't hear it, or its it just one more example of Phillies hate?

Just got back from running down to AT&T Park. Fenway and Wrigley aside, I can't imagine it getting any better than that. Amazing park, amazing location. Fuck the Giants.

Watching MLB Network Greatest Games, #5 86 NLCS game 6 Mets vs. Astros and LA just made quick work of the meat of the Mets' lineup in the eleventh. After Carter singled with one out, Strawberry popped up and Ray Knight struck out. Astros ran themselves out of a lot of offensive opportunities in this one, however.

Also Dickie Thon.

I saw Manny Ramirez play in a spring training game this year. He looked horribly out of shape, and looked like he cared even less than usual, and I made the observation that the Rays had obviously lost their way signing that guy, even for one year, even for a relatively small amount of money. "Nothing good can come from this," I said.

In the end, I guess I was right. But I will say this: MannyBManny came up to the plate. He looked more likely to collapse on the spot than swing the bat. But he did swing the bat. And he absolutely rocketed a single into the outfield. It was impressive. Sure, a minute later, he made a classic, "It's hot out here and I don't want to be on the bases" base-running maneuver and got himself thrown out. But he hit that line drive hard. Damn, he hit that line drive hard.

Remember how the Reds were worried the other day about Aroldis Chapman's velocity?

Last night he threw a pitch to McCuctheon that was clocked at 106 MPH, which, if accurate, would be the fastest pitch ever recorded in MLB

No. It was high and inside. McCutcheon crapped his pants, from what I understand.

locals started complaining about to big of a gap between first pitch and the end of the early bird specials. You figure out if I'm joking or not.

the way the new board works, you just put the random characters in from the url after the "watch?v=" and before the & symbol.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Keenan Cahill (b. 1995) is a teenage viral video star from Chicago whose lip-syncing to popular songs has brought his videos on YouTube to some of the most viewed online. Guest artists on his channel have included rapper 50 Cent in November 2010, David Guetta in January 2011[1], and with Jersey Shore's Paul DelVecchio in February 2011.[2] Cahilll has become an internet hit and been featured on MTV and Chelsea Lately.[3] Cahill has Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome, which gives him a dwarf-like appearance.[4]
