I love old baseball footage, particularly from the 1980s, and I feel like I am fairly knowledgable regarding baseball's history - and I had never seen or heard of ANY of this until just now. But holy shit, that is some awesome footage.

Seems like a very strange brawl. McDowell had just been on the Mets earlier that year. According to the box score, he only faced Jefferies, and the pitch shown there is the only one he threw.

Pujols came down with some "mild tightness" in his left hamstring on April 24. His pre- and

post-hamstring injury numbers are telling.

Through April 24: .250/.306/.500, 7 HR in 98 PAs

Since April 24: .286/.372/.327, 0 HR, 113 PAs
