A depleted Phillies team has a 3 game lead, the best record in the majors, and while they may not have played the toughest schedule out there they still have gone out and beaten some good teams in what is arguably the toughest division in baseball right now. Even the Nats are .500!

they've basically suffered 2 wins worth of injuries already, plus had raul put up a negative win of value to start the season, but countered that by having shane and polanco produce like utley and rollins reinvent himself. oh, and having aces galore.

Brian Schneider strained his left hamstring last night. He said he can’t see himself playing by Friday, which probably means he is headed to the disabled list. If everything goes well for Carlos Ruiz tonight in Class A Clearwater, the Phillies could swap Schneider for Ruiz on the DL.

This will give him time to take a long hard look at things. If he comes back I'd expect we'll see a different Brian Schneider.

Assuming Oswalt's DL stint goes as planned and he is back by Tuesday, do they send Worley bird back to Ryno's club?

I'd assume he or Kendrick will go down to stay stretched out for spot starts. Probably Worley. But it wouldn't shock me if they kept both and sent Stutes down, at least until Contreras is back.
