They interview Larry Stone and another beat guy who I forget his name but both guys aren't bad. They sneak some computer number nerd talk in there and the host guys are pretty receptive to it. Also they have Shannon Drayer who is really good.
For a town not really known for its sports teams, Seattle has very good talk radio compared to Philly and other big sports towns. Actually, maybe that's why.

do you listen to 710 or 950? i haven't really listened to any of the local sports radio here in WA since I'm not interested in UW, Seahags, M's etc...but I occasionally watch that guy Softy on Comcast (I think he's from 950am).
Can't wait for Father's Day to head out to Safeco and watch the Phils trounce the M's.
Hamels knows, because he used to boo. He even shares a target with Phillies fans.
“I booed Adam Eaton,” Hamels said with a laugh. “And now I’m good friends with him. I was in high school when he was in his first two seasons. He had a bad game.

But we're too old, too over the hill, too not like the Braves.

Seriously, if it gets to 2013 and all our guys drop off a cliff and the Braves guys all go beyond their ceilings, we are #$&! doomed!!!
Barry Jive wrote:Another part of it is that it's a vocal minority of people talking up the Braves as challengers to the Phils. Of all the teams in the league this offseason (except maybe the Yankees) the Phils probably got the most press of any team, obviously for good reason. The rotation has been fellated by every major sports publication in the country. There are more people wondering if it's the best rotation ever than there are people dragging it down. Hey guys: The Phillies are really good, really popular, and really respected. The Braves aren't fit to lick the $#@! off the skidmarked whites of Danys #$&! Baez. And everyone knows this, whether they say it publicly or not.
Guys, we're the best. Quit worrying about what the peons say.
