I'm concerned about that walk.

It's now a "Reconstruct Brad Lidge's Shoulder" booth. Was going to be "Reconstruct Utley's Knee" but when they opened up the boxes from the supplier all the cartilage was missing.

I know this is very, very funny but I just can't make myself laugh at it.

Kind of a shame. I enjoyed dressing a Phanatic for my niece or nephew. I have two of them- a regular one and one in a 2008 WS T-shirt.

Oh well.

they replaced it with a "47" brand store. ugh. the world needs more poorly fitted hats with flat brims.

there's a bunch of other changes around the park, too, but that's the one that hurts the most.

[Comment From Nik]
Are the Phillies starters going to set the all-time collective K/BB ratio record this year?
1:26
Jonah Keri: Maybe. And just think how amazing that will be when they still manage to miss the playoffs

No Third Order Standings yet, but Phillies have a 60.3% chance to make the playoffs according to our friends at Baseball Prospectus. Red Sox, who have yet to win a game, have an eye popping 87.2% chance to make that playoffs, which seems a little on the high side, especially given the fact that they are in a division with the Yankees, who have a 77.8% chance to make the playoffs, which also seems high.

That sucks...

MOUNT VERNON, N.J. - April 4, 2011 (WPVI) -- Police in Mount Vernon, New Jersey are trying to track down the burglars who broke into the home of Phillies pitcher Kyle Kendrick and cleaned the home out of electronics, family heirlooms and valuable collectibles including Kendrick's 2008 World Series Champion ring.

Investigators report the burglary happened between March 26 and 27. The burglars apparently picked and defeated the lock on the Kendricks' home and then spent a "considerable time" loading up the items from the home.

Among the items taken were several personal baseball gloves and bats, a signed jersey from Ken Griffey, Jr., and Kendrick's 2008 World Series ring.

That does suck. Even Kendrick doesn't deserve that.

Seems to me if KK were the least bit neighborly the criminals wouldn't have been able to spend "a considerably amount of time" loading crap onto a truck or something without being noticed.

Gonna be a little suspicious when that thug tries to sell a 2008 World Series championship ring
