Oswalt for Young is a good idea if you're trying to get worse.

Pretty sure Halladay has the most value, should try to trade him.

The integral of upset. Or is it the derivative?

Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. confirmed Thursday that Chase Utley (knee) will begin the season on the disabled list.
Amaro finally admitted the obvious Thursday, acknowledging that Utley hasn't seen the field yet and the start of the season is a week away. Replacing his production in the lineup is an impossible task, especially when we're talking about names like Wilson Valdez, Luis Castillo, Josh Barfield and Michael Martinez. There's still no timetable for Utley's return.

The Philadelphia Phillies can backdate 2B Chase Utley's (knee) disabled-list stint, meaning he could be eligible to return April 6, according to the Philadelphia Daily News' David Murphy. However, Utley is likely to be out much longer than that.

how is that possible?>
Why not just go storm Normandy and get shot in the face while you're at it
Why not get a plumbing license and run around high on shrooms stealing peoples' pocket change

So RAJ and David Montgomery missed the first 5 innings of yesterday's game because Proefrock's car ran out of gas. More on the blog soon. Also in the car was Jesse Rendell, son of Daily News columnist Ed Rendell

No Victorino or Polanco again today. Ruiz is catching though.

We got Gload in the outfield.

I'm disappointed to learn that Rube doesn't fly into games via helicopter.

Hamels working on regular season stuff. Allows infield single. Picks guy off first and the guy takes second easily.

Fields infield single and gets the guy at 2B in a run down which the Phils work on messing up. They finally get him out and the Twin guy who hit the ball works on forgetting to advance to 2nd. Then Hamels works on giving up a double and the Twin on 1st works on not scoring with two outs.

Panda game.

Thome was the fellow with the double. Nearly a homer per TMac's call.

Right you are Hoya. Speaking of Thome, Castillo is in the best shape of his life. And he takes strike three but looks great.
