Well, he is a World Series MVP in the prime of his career... what should I think if it looked like Hamels would get his ass handed to him right now if he went out and tried to put in five innings of three run ball against the Pirates?

I don't understand. This is early in Spring Training - rarely are pitchers ready to step right in and dominate at this point. This would be equally true of any of the starters.

Hamels is going to average 93+ on his fastball this year and have a career high GB%, career low HR/9

I'm so desperate for baseball I read Bleacher Report.

Another one of their lists, top 5 reasons to love/hate the Phillies. Not much to read here, but at least it's something to read.

the number one reason to hate them is a large payroll. that makes no sense.

Makes more sense than a $5 ticket price increase being a reason to hate. But hey, it's BR.

Nothing about Wheels and TMac under hate? Hmmm.
I agree with the love for CBP and the Phanatic, and the hate for ticket prices and hard-to-obtain tickets. But I suppose I'd rather not be able to afford or obtain tickets and have them in the playoffs than the other way around, right?

Isn't it a contradiction to hate both the difficulty of acquiring tickets and the price increase?

what?

If prices were higher tickets would be easier to acquire. <See>

If prices were lower, more people would want to buy them from the phils, making stubhub your only alternative if you didnt have a season ticket plan.

Link doesn't work for me for some reason but it's the main story on the homepage for now. Not sure where the joke for this one is coming from. He's immature? He's disliked in the clubhouse?
