oh man, what a great show. It's too good for TV, simply because of the production costs and time.

Starts up again on 1/14 ... Final season.

Pertwee is still the bomb.

Ecc's is probably the best actor to ever play the part, but there were too many times it was clear he wasn't taking the part seriously.

His "soliloquy's" in Dalek and Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways were downright amazing.

on CSN Sportsnite, they said they are doing a review of Ryan Howard as part of their year in review series
''I don't know what was harder - that (Phillies lineup) or the All-Star team lineup,'' Haren said.

It's almost done.

I think it's fantastic. The actor who plays Jack really sucked IMO in Doctor Who, he's really good in Torchwood.

I was a bit concerned with how they 'portrayed' torchwood in the who season finale - i hope they take a different tack (tact?) in the series.

Yeah - there are several Torchwood's - this one is in Wales (of course).

Did you realize Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who?

What's Torchwood all about? I've seen it on the torrent sites and have been tempted to check it out.

The only tv aside sports I liked to watch was Adult Swim and the Office and Arrested Development and Curb and Extras. Now that The latter 3 are off the air and the Office sucks and Adult Swim too also sucks, I am pretty bummed out at tv. Honestly, what the heck happened at Williams Street to cause such a dropoff in quality? It's like they all started doing really hard drugs and listening to ironic metal. That's probably not that different from what it was like when they first started except maybe now the drugs are harder? I don't know. But I do know that shows like Metalocalypse, shows like 12 oz. Mouse and Moral Orel and shows like Assy McGee and Frisky Dingo and Stroker and Hoop are just so remarkably and uniformly horrible that I had to write this and tell you all how I feel about it. Even my beloved Aqua Teen has gone down the tubes as they try to gross me out week after week or shock me a lot. I don't get shocked guys. I liked the simple yet absurd humor of the first three seasons. What the hell is this? I don't know. I do like Squidbillies. Is Tom Goes to the Mayor even on anymore? That too was a good one. It seemed like Venture Brothers new season stopped airing really fast? Those are good too I liked the weird German Dr. Strangelove doctor. OK over and out.

I literally watched the first season yesterday straight through. That good, IMO. I just downloaded the second season and will try to watch is tonight. I know there is a cliffhanger, but I don't know what it is. So...I'll answer this tommorrow.

That reminds me, I'll post a how to download $#@! for free guide up at the top.

I'm a bit late on this, but you guys really like Weeds? I've seen five episodes and will probably watch the rest just because I hate to only buy half, but it seems pretty mediocre. I like the main character and the young kid, but the drug-dealing family? Cooking cornbread and talking about nothing but being black all day? Seems like a drug dealer character offers limitless possibilities and they went with the worst choice. Kevin Nealon is funny, I guess. I hope it turns around.

I felt like it's just your run of hte mill freak of the week sort of scifi show. I'm not going to think it's better because it's got some accents.

Hous - I agree with you that Weeds is nothing special and sort of fits everyone into these easy little stereotypes, but I watch it simply to see where the story's going.

Showtime show about widowed suburban housewife who sells weed. It's really funny. You can make it through the episodes in no time.

I've been very impressed by that SNL alumnus (kevin nealon?) on SNL - it's the funniest I've ever seen him.

As for torchwood, i ccurrently know it's an anagram for doctor who and that it's what they called series 1 to try and 'hide' the production, but that's only because I read it in some article at some point
