Rangers manager Walter Smith will let Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor save their careers if they apologise for their part in the 'Boozegate' incident, which saw them involved in a drinking session while on Scotland duty. (Daily Record)
I really hate "lunchtime" kickoffs. Fucking hell 7:45 is early on a Saturday. All to watch it on a stream too, since my parents barely have basic cable, let alone Setanta.
Stevie won't start, but is in the squad. Hope they can bust them open early. A repeat of Stoke/Fulham/West Ham etc would be most unwelcome.
4-0 without Gerrard. Torres, Kuyt and Alonso got to come off early too. Very nice.
Back top for two hours or so. Sunderland, if you could get a result, that would be amazing. No Ferdinand at the back, VDS isn't playing, and the transsexual looking cunt is on the bench. It's doable. +6 goal differential at the moment, which could be key down the line.
I was just read the match thread on RAWK as I was busying proving how out of shape I am by hauling crap covered in dust down the stairs instead of watching the game. I was happy when Sunderland scored. I was sad when United scored again.
Hard finding four points for United to drop on their run in looking at their last seven fixtures. That fucking goal last weekend was devastating.
1. down 1-0 at halftime, Djourou injured and Tweety subbed on
2. Arshavin sets up the first goal from his ass
3. Silvestre, of all people, scores the second
4. Arshavin scores a cracking goal for 3-1
5. And personal favorite Alex Song makes a 25 yard run into the box and scores a 4th
First of, Nando is a beast. I only got to see the highlights of that game, but that was enough.
Shearer finally sat Fabricio. I wish he would have started Jonas and Andy, but at least he got them in the game, and both substitutions paid off. If we're going to go with few defenders, Jonas has to be in there somewhere, Alan realized this, thankfully, before it was too late. Needed 3 points, but to get one when it looked liked all was lost is encouraging (which is a sad statement about the team). Hopefully Alan has his team now.
Apparently, Shearer played in a scrimmage at SJP this week and scored a goal so the player/manager dream won't go away.
"Everybody's a critic. This wasn't an aesthetic endeavor."
