Nonsense. We specialize in saying obnoxious things straight to people's face.

Hey, I'm just happy somebody read what I wrote and thought enough to comment.

I am curious if any of you have heard anything about Hamels adding a two-seam fastball. I couldn't find a single word about it searching around the Internets, but it's pretty unmistakably there in the data. I guessed that it was maybe the sort of thing that Hamels and his catchers didn't particularly want to talk about, and it's not necessarily something that the baseball community at large would catch onto until he started using it more often.

I don't remember hearing any such thing from the Phillies' broadcasters, who you'd think would have access to stories like that. I also get the Inquirer every day, and I never read anything about it there. But I don't speak for everyone, obviously.

"It's just fun to bust some caps," said Myers

He grabbed the handgun, held it sideways and began firing.

"That's how the gangsters do it," he said.

"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

this is getting a little freaky. If Peter Gammons makes reference to red tube and since his stroke needing to hit it JA FAPP style, I'm out for good.
