IF, and I stress the word IF, there were some reason to have a bunch of people walk in a straight line, or possibly ride on slow-moving vehicles... what I believe is called a "parade" in the vulgar parlance... does anyone know what the date of such an event would be? Has it been announced?

Wednesday or Thursday -- no official date or time yet, though
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I think Wednesday makes the most sense
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

I generally believe it is set for the second day following the event that would precede such a random occurence.

What time of day do random occurences even occur? Would one show up late to work, take a long lunch, or a leave early in the event of such events?

And what if one were to have a job interview that morning. Should one blow it off, living henceforth off memories and soup?

is it possible that one might have an interview in town and early enough that public transit would get them to the random occurrence in time?

umm...it's suddenly saying 50% chance of showers tonight, looking like it would intermittent showers. yesterday, it looked like it would be clear. it would be just our luck to have a long 3rd inning rain delay that rendered hamels unavailable for the rest of the game, wouldn't it? please let the weather hold up!

Nice. Good to have one in reserve in case of emergencies.

I'm such a wreck I can't even decide what to do tonight. I think I may end up at a bar in Phoenixville, but not sure yet.

ESPN's main MLB page is focused on Kazmir and the Rays. As they lead 3-1
