I just saw something that confused me.
It is the bottom of the 8th...the red sox were winning 5-3, and jonathan papelbon was warming up, after some bad pitching by jose (don't obtain me) contreras, it's now 10-3 red sox....however, joel pinero is warming up for the red sox and papelbon has sat down.

This confuses me...the closer was warmed up - the closer should pitch?

Apparently Miguel Cabrera is still fat. ESPN says so.

Meanwhile, Wigginton and Upton have put the D'Rays up 2-0 on the Yanks early...

remember how they cut into the phils game last week to show Bonds' at bats? well this week, they literally went to the game and didn't show what was happening in the game you were watching at all
so while Bonds grounded out weakly to the pitcher, the Dodgers pitcher hit a double

38 runs in the last 2 games for the Yankees. They only scored 7 the game before.
Check The Good Phight, you might learn something.

Joe Morgan just describe Renteria as "one of the best underrated clutch hitters in the league"

Can anyone translate?

Based on this one at bat I once saw him have, he drove in a run. It may have been a close game, I think.

It also won a trophy of some minor significance.
