What's with the Orange board?

The Orange Board used to be a section of the Misconception's Message Board, as far as I can tell, no longer accessible on their site directly (though I figure there's probably a super-secret entry or something now).

I tried to register for that board awhile ago (like when the Split first happened), but never received confirmation. I think it's probably like the 33rd Degree of BSG.

the orange board was BSG before BSG. when many of us were about to get banned from dave eater presents: dave snyder's philliesphans.com the best baseball talk online TM, i sent out PMs to a few people whom with i had developed a decent relationship inviting them to join my band's message board so we could keep in contact and eventually burn the place to the ground. those people invited others, and then we had a mole (DS) who ruined everything. the board still exists, but gets about 2 posts a month, most recently an action pic of DSP's sister and schillngfan's daughter.

This thread is great. I posted at philliesphans before and after the split. I just remembered about this board a few weeks ago, so it's great to finally understand some of these inside jokes.

No one has gotten the trout thing correct yet. Many moons ago back on Philliesphans there was a thread about the NFL draft/combine. I posted about an article I read about the Wonderlic test that is given to all NFL prospects. Specifically I posted an example question that was in the article which went (to the best of my recollection) something like this:

Which of these doesn't belong?
A. Dog
B. Cat
C. Trout

I don't have the exact question and answers correct, but it was completely absurd and featured the correct answer of "Trout", highlighting the asininity of dumb football players that get single digit scores

After that, it became a meme on Philliesphans to answer "trout" to any poll or question. Then people started actually building it into the poll questions themselves.

Then, when BSG started and karn posted the "Let's make graemlins!" thread, one of the first ones he made was a picture of a trout saying, "Joboggi". This was in reference to jobo's habit of popping in active threads and talking about something completely random--with no context--that had nothing to do with the topic at hand

It seems like half the in-jokes date from before this board's inception. I wonder if there are any in jokes from the really old Phillies.com days.

Oh snap, I just found the actual question. I got it a bit wrong, but this is actually more hilarious than I remembered.

Always thought Wonderlic would be more appropriate a name for a test given to cheerleader prospects than player prospects...

What is the story of how everyone got banned from Philliesphans? I know the nature of that board and can see how it happened but don't know the specifics.
