pod save america has been meh for me recently. they have these guests on with whom they have many inside jokes. it feels as if they are bragging at times. even the first half hour isnt great. they get stuff wrong and the news moves so fast it is often outdated hours after they release an episode.

I still enjoy the early week podcast. I end up skipping the favs/pfieffer one often just because I'm burned out on politics by Friday. Pod Save the World has been very good and more substantive. The one with Greenwald was excellent.

I think Favreau is really good and Vietor and Pfeiffer solid/good, and Lovett has some really good and really bad moments

All in all probably my favorite pod, enjoyment and news value wise

So do you not listen to "reactionary" politics/news pods and focus on "subject" pods? I'm just curious, because it seems like the news keeps moving and won't slow down with Trump.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

yeah, i guess there was one last week where they had on that woman they worked with in the WH.

what was your favorite trip? lol remember that time!!

it feel like those times you are invited to hang out with a friend's group of friends. you don't know anyone there except your friend and all they talk about are the funny stories/memories they have all shared. just feel kinda outsidery and not in on how cool they are.

Agreed that that does happen a little much but I guess I see it as the other side of the insider coin. I get to hear these stories that I never would otherwise so I'll take a little annoyance at the other end.

I really enjoy both of the "Pod Save ..." podcasts and while I think that Lovett is pretty funny I don't think that I could take a whole hour of just him.

By the way, am I the only person that, upon learning of the Pod Save America podcast (or whatever it was previously), thought it involved John Lovitz and John Favreau (the actor from Swingers)? I was confused for a bit.

the most ridiculous part of lovett or leave it was katie nolan saying she talked to a guy at a bar 2 weeks ago and now he's ghosted her. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT MAN.
