They might have stumbled upon a version on the website.

And more often, they're encouraging people to rate them on iTunes et al., not merely subscribe.

OK that makes sense -- if I hear a good one online or in a friend's car and it's not included on my preferred platform, I may remember where else I can find it. But that's gotta be a really small sliver of the pie, no?

For ratings just say rate us wherever you listen to us

Mayor Pete Booty Judge was really good on Axe Files

High hopes for "S-Town," although it bummed me out to hear Sarah Koenig introduce it

Pod Saves America spinoff With Friends Like These is a good idea but the host a snooze

Gonna try this Missing Richard Simmons

I like Lovett's style, but I can see how he can be grating. He has a bit of "look at me" to him.

the spinoff is hosted by Ana Marie Cox, not Lovett

i like the guests she's gotten so i've kept it in circulation; i also follow her on twitter so it probably helped i knew what to expect from her.

from what i've read Simmons isn't even missing, he's just not talking to this guy.

any good baseball podcasts out there? the MLB Ringer one is kinda boring, and I feel I get better analysis of players from the ESPN fantasy baseball podcast than baseball tonight.

that's not bad.

the podcast was fine but worth it for Lovett's rant about Missing Richard Simmons.
