I thought this was the easiest question of all time, but one of the contestants got it wrong.

Yeah, that is definitely one of the easiest Final Jeopardy answers ever.

Wednesday's question was something like:

"This item worn by the pope was first mentioned by pope Clementine in 1265. It containes an image of Saint Peter on a boat."

What is the papal ring?

Someone needs to give us yesterday's question.
"Am I adorable?"
"You're like a penguin in an indie band."

That's what my roommate guessed. I was busy typing, and since the answer didn't come initially, it didn't come at all.

The other guy, with Lindsey, was thinking the same thing (Lohan).

Yesterday's question:

At $900 million, his fortune was once 2% of the GNP. By his death in 1937, he was down to about $26 million.

Who was John D. Rockafeller?

All three contestants messed up. The lady in third place got the question wrong, but would have won if she had bet nothing. The woman in second place knew the answer, but spelled his name wrong (you can spell a name wrong so long as what you write would be pronounced the same way as the correct answer). The leader wrote the correct answer, but crossed it out and wrote something else. He won anyway, but got very little money.
