Thanks for that. Though I also now know I will not be watching that show.

No 30th Anniversary of Flood tour dates in the Philly area announced yet. What's up with that?

Also, where was I when TMBG opened for Squeeze in Asbury Park this summer? I suck.

TMBG is my 2 year old's favorite band (I think) because she loves the song "Hot Dog" more than life itself.

Oh man, when my son was that age, 10 years ago, TMBG was pretty much the house band of the Disney channel. It was fantastic, he used to love goofy’s hot dog dance.

Maybe I posted this video years ago and it died. Anyway, while I really like the TMBG cover I maybe like the original by CUB better. Maybe it's the WTC in the video. Or that TMBG screwed up the lyrics (they have Dylan instead of King Kong living in the Empire State Bldg. among other things.)

I don’t think they mean that King Kong lived in the building, swish.

Well, that's what they SAY. Makes more sense than Dylan, anyway.

anyway, it's one of my favorite songs about New York whoever sings it.

My sister invited me to the 9:30 Club show, so I guess I’m going to that one. The last time I saw them perform Flood live in DC, the Phillies won the World Series.
