James Gandolfini was next to me at Seaside, playing that Wizard of Oz game that you pump quarters into. He was unshaven, walking with a limp, wearing a worn-out orange t-shirt, and he was telling his kids "c'mon, I gave you enough money". He looked over while he was waiting for them to finish and I said hi, but I wasn't gonna bother him. He hung out for about a half hour and a few people stopped and said hello and asked for pics, so they cashed in and left out the front...

I saw Wendie Malick at the grocery store yesterday. She was on Just Shoot Me. I've seen Amanda Seyfried and the actor who played the gay Sopranos character at that same grocery store.

I was at a grocery store in VT one time and both Captain kangaroo and Michael J Fox were there. They both lived nearby, but it was still a strange juxtaposition.

I don't think I'd recognize any of the people you saw, but I have watched Just Shoot Me on occasion.

I didn't have any problem recognizing Amanda Seyfried.



I probably wouldn't have recognized the Sopranos guy (Joseph Gannascoli) if I hadn't seen him around where I lived in other places.



I'm sure I am seeing famous people all the time who I don't recognize.
